PRTA is built for private job-prep work. This policy explains what information the app uses and how it is handled.
Information PRTA collects
PRTA may collect account details such as your name, email address, login status, plan, credits, purchase history, and app usage events.
When you use the product, PRTA processes the resume text, job description, target role, company name, interview answers, readiness reports, scores, and coaching feedback you provide or generate.
If you use the Application Tracker, PRTA may store application details you enter, including company, job title, optional job description, date applied, current stage, stage history, and any linked PRTA readiness report/session.
How information is used
PRTA uses your information to authenticate your account, generate readiness reports, score mock interview answers, manage credits or subscriptions, prevent abuse, improve reliability, and provide support.
Payment processing is handled by Stripe. PRTA does not intentionally store full card numbers or bank details.
Application Tracker data is used to help you organize your job search and, only if you opt in, to calculate anonymized aggregate outcome statistics for product improvement and future success-rate analysis.
Optional outcome data sharing
Outcome data sharing is off by default. You can choose whether to share anonymized application outcome data from your account settings.
If enabled, PRTA may include your tracked application outcomes in aggregate statistics, such as the percentage of opted-in tracked applications that reached an interview or offer. PRTA will not publicly identify individual users, resumes, companies applied to, job descriptions, or specific applications.
You can turn outcome sharing off later. Turning it off excludes your data from future aggregate calculations. Account or application deletion also removes the deleted data from future aggregate calculations where reasonably possible.
Any future public success-rate claim should be based only on opted-in users who actively tracked outcomes in PRTA and should disclose that limitation.
AI processing
PRTA may send resume, job, and interview-answer content to AI systems to generate analysis and coaching. Do not upload information you are not comfortable using for job-prep analysis.
The interface should not expose internal AI provider branding to users, but AI processing may be part of the service.
Data retention
PRTA may retain account records, reports, interview feedback, usage logs, and payment records as needed to operate the service, debug issues, satisfy accounting needs, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.
You can request deletion of your account data by emailing support@prta.io from the email address on your PRTA account. PRTA will verify the request, delete or anonymize nonessential app data such as profile records, saved reports, interview answers, and feedback where reasonably possible, and confirm when the request is complete.
Some billing, tax, payment, fraud-prevention, security, dispute, or legal records may need to be retained for a reasonable period even after account deletion. PRTA may also keep minimal records needed to document that a deletion request was completed.
Cookies, browser storage, and analytics
PRTA may use cookies, local storage, or similar browser storage to keep you signed in, remember session state, support saved readiness checks and interview progress, prevent abuse, and improve service reliability.
PRTA uses privacy-focused site analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns, such as page views and basic referrer/performance information, so the service can be improved after launch.
Authentication, payment, hosting, analytics, and fraud-prevention providers may also use cookies or similar technologies as part of secure login, checkout, analytics, fraud prevention, and service delivery.
PRTA does not currently use advertising cookies or retargeting pixels. If PRTA later adds advertising, retargeting, or broader behavioral tracking technologies, PRTA should provide any legally required notice, consent, or opt-out controls before enabling them.
Security
PRTA uses reasonable technical safeguards, but no online service can guarantee perfect security. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials private.
